FBI to Investigate Involvement in Foley coverup?

Speaker Hastert has asked for a criminal investigation into the Foley pedophilia scandal. The scope of the investigation, Hastert wrote, should include "any and all individuals who may have been aware of this matter — be they members of Congress, employees of the House of Representatives or anyone outside the Congress."
Does it include Capito?

Ms. Capito was supposed to have had specific responsibility for the safety and well-being of Republican House pages.

But when she publicly stated that she "didn't know" about Mark Foley's predatory behavior, she essentially admitted that she had shirked her responsibility. And yet remarkably the GOP leadership left her in place STILL responsible for the safety and well-being of those teen House Pages!

This is a perfect example of Bush's "heckuva job" Neocon congress - appointing time and again those who are the least capable of maintaining decent oversight over their department.

Hopefully the rest of the world is now beginning to understand just how self absorbed they really are. From negligent oversight of war contracts to disasterous non-action over FEMA's Katrina catastrophe. From what was dreadfully wrong with our Defense Intelligence prior to 911 to the completely woeful data preceding the runup to the invasion of Iraq regarding WMD and the strength of the Iraqi insurgent resistence, these Bozos should go down in history as the Congress that WOULDN'T.

In other words, Shelley More CorporateToad deserves the ultimate "Bush Brownie Blessing" because she certainly did a "heckuvajob" NOT protecting pages from the Congressional Greedy Old Predators ("GOP") on HER side of the aisle.

Follow the money.

All the major players in the scandal have either given Capito money or helped her raise money (like Foley). What's that all about?
